Staffordshire Open Studios 2008: Open Weekends
20/21 and 27/28 Septempber

Naomi Matthews and myself will be sharing the home of Charles Walker as all three of us welcome guests into his wonderful home to show you our work. Between us we photograph, carve, sculpt and paint. You're sure to find something to look at and enjoy. I'll have work on display from my trip to New Zealand and I'll set up a space where you can even watch a demo of my carving. For a local charity, Charles will also be selling cream teas and scones which you can eat outside whilst enjoying the weather if its nice or sit in the comfort of the kitchen and have a chat.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Staffordshire Open Studios Preview Exhibition
Lichfield Cathedral 28th July 2006 - 17th August 2006

Staffordshire Open Studios is an initiative involving artists and craftspeople from around the County who have agreed to open their doors to give an insight into their work and inspiration and to make people more aware of the wealth of artistic talent that exists within Staffordshire. The event which is an artists led initiative, has been organised by the Staffordshire Arts and Craft Network and will run over 2 separate weekends in September.

Work by participating Open Studio artists will be previewed at the cathedral, including Carrie, Charles Walker, (who she will be sharing a venue with for the Open Studios event in Septempber), Lisa Henderson and many others. A worthwhile day out to see some of the art and artists that the Creative County has to offer.

Open Studios 2006 Programme is now available throughout the Midlands in Tourist Information Centres, Libraries and Galleries; or visit the website to register and have one posted to you. The guide provides information about all participating artists, venues and Art Groups with opening times, facilities and location maps to help you.
